One of my earliest experiments,"She's a Lady" let me explore not only the female form, but the paint itself. 
I created the effect by adding paint direct from tube to canvas in a desired pattern, and then use a toothpick or skewer in a swirling pattern, until all of the empty spots on the canvas are filled. A little time consuming, but satisfying.
